Authentic Homemade Meatballs
Meatballs are the ultimate comfort food. My husband’s first home cooked meal was my meatballs because, obviously, I wanted to impress him! If you’re looking for a meatball to impress this is your dish! Hearty, savory, and juicy, all in one bite!
Ingredients
- 1 Pounds ground beef
- 1 Pound Italian Sausage
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 3 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 3 Tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 Tablespoon parsley
- 1 Teaspoon salt
- 1 Teaspoon Paprika
- 1 Teaspoon white pepper
- 1 Teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 cup cooking oil
- *Optional extra Parmesan cheese and Parsley
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a large mixing bowl combined ground beef and Italian sausage. Add in parmesan cheese, egg, breadcrumbs, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, parsley, salt, paprika, white pepper, and onion. Mix ingredients well.
- Press in hand a small amount of meat and begin rolling and forming 1 1/2inch ball. I personally use an ice cream scoop to make sure they’re all same size. Try your best to keep them uniformed in size.
- Next, in a large cast iron skillet on medium heat add your oil. Sear meatballs on both sides until a dark brown. Once all meatballs are browned place in your cast iron pot/pan of sauce.
- Place in oven at 350 Degrees for about 20 minute or until the meatball reach an internal temperature of 160 degrees.
- Lastly, garnish your meatballs with fresh Parmesan cheese and parsley. Enjoy with your choice of noodles. Nothing better than a great bowl of pasta and meatballs.
